Father,
Tonight I rest in Your safety.
I lay down my worries, my unfinished battles, my racing thoughts, my heavy burdens— they are behind me, and I faced them with You.
You are, and always shall, be my shield, my keeper, my peace.
What I cannot control, You reign.
Where I am weak, You are strong.
Where darkness settles, Your light remains.
Let Your presence be the blanket over my soul.
Quiet the storms within me.
Teach me to breathe grace, to trust deeply, to sleep not from exhaustion but from confidence in You.
I release this day into Your hands— every success, every failure.
Through this restful sleep I renew my faith for every unknown that I will face tomorrow.
For You alone allow me dwell in safety.
While I sleep, You stand watch.
So I rest, fully, freely, and without fear.
